I have sound working on video replay but not on the browser on quirky puppy (through the jack on the pi, just white noise with the browser). I have sound working on raspbian and on librelec and osmc. Is there a simple configuration manip to make or is there a problem with pi 3 that doesn't exist with pi 2?
This is with the test buttons on the sound tool and on VLC and Rhythmbox. All very well (on wired connection, haven't tried wifi yet) but I have no sound (through speakers on the monitor, through headphone jackon the monitor or through the jack on the pi. TV is still the best remote software out there just wish you wouldn't fix it when it's not broken.In my search for alternatives to raspbian I have now got Ubuntu Mate working (at the second attempt, something went drastically wrong with the log-in setup first time). (then I would only need to resize ONE window instead of 20 windows) Will we ever get tabbed windows in Linux? So can the new whatever it's for feature be rolled back like it used to work?Ĭan I turn off "Sending All Keys Enabled"? I wanted two things in Linux TABS, TABS, TABS and away to KILL, DISABLE, NEVER SEE STUPID "RECENT CONNECTIONS" EVER AGAIN!!! Yes it's not huge but I work on hundreds of computers each month and it's just one more step I don't need to make. Now I need to resize EACH window to access the dock.
Otherwise I can't use my "Cairo Dock" normally if I put the mouse at the bottom it pops up resizes the open window and click what I need.
So it's about a half inch off the bottom of my screen. But what is really sending me over the edge is resizing EVERY window. Just that popping up eveytime I switch computers is annoying. Up to 20 computers at one time but now I get this annoying thing like a really old version of VirtualBox VM "Sending All Keys Enabled - Sending All Keys disabled" Since we don't have tabbed windows in Linux yet? (Everything in Linux is TABBED even the file managers) I just open every session to full screen. In the newest version maybe the last also.
